You have to get in touch with him. If possible email all the things that you can and wont do. Also always get paid upfront. Also if you can talk to him on the phone tell him that you want to know him better. I find it very helpfull to talk to my clients before the meeting, that way you know what he wants and you could just take it fromt there... Although I dont always have time for it.
