If you are ever stopped by the police, you might run into an evil clone of the cop in this video. I respect the job that the police have to do ... but there are good cops and bad cops.
When dealing with a police officer, the ACLU suggests:
* Be polite and respectful. Never bad-mouth a police officer.
* Upon request, show them your driver’s license, registration and proof of insurance.
* Stay calm and in control of your words, body language and emotions.
* Don’t get into an argument with the police. Remember, anything you say or do can be used against you.
* Keep your hands where the police can see them.
* Don’t run. Don’t touch the police officer.
* Don’t complain on the scene or tell the police they’re wrong or that you are going to file a complaint.
* Remember officers’ badge and patrol card numbers.
* If you feel your rights have been violated, file a written complaint with the police department’s internal affairs division or civilian complaint board.
