Forum - Love or Money...

Hi Letusdoit and yes, the police charged the person with his death in the accident and the person is serving time in prison for it. The person driving the other vehicle was driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol and the person had previous charges a couple of years before that accident as far back as I can remember. It still won't bring back my friend though and I do miss my friend sometimes. I'm ok though and I have made my peace with what happened. I hope that you have a great week ahead sweetie!

I pick money over love.

I have had what I thought was love. Twice. It went away like so many other things have. But money has always stuck with me and multiplied over the years to a nice comfortable level. So now I will stick with NSA companionship. Have fun with my money instead of on somone permanate who doesn't appreciate it. My money has brought me more pleasure over my lifetime then love.

Love is what we all what,i think but real love, but its hard work and like money it can be taken away from you. I had love taken from me by man who hit my little girl in car, he drive off, he still alive, and he never even say sorry. But what really hurt i had watch her die in hospital coz i not have money. In my country no money no medicine, like other countries i know. Then after my dad died he same, he knew he was dieing but no money, he died a brave man, the money we had was not enoough so he say no keep it you need it, i die anyway. You live. Love is truely wonderful but with out money it is so hard, so now i say i have the money please, so when i love again i have the money if i need it to keep my love alive. I hope i dont ever need it again for that reason. But i never want stand there feeling stupid and be told by doctor nothing we can do if you cant pay. Everyday i see my little girls face and every day i see that doctor face. Every day i see love i dont hate that doctor i just think one day he have room in his heart to give love to, and not just want money. And to think some people call my country paradise.
Every body needs money just to live, with out money you cant live, bills, food,heating, so even though we want love money will always be there, love is the commitment to each other, to be happy to be sad to be honest and open and to understand each others wants, even if you dont want the same. To allow freedom. Be able to tell someone how you feel and why. Money is always there, money and adultry causes the biggest two arguements,
For Kotikkk men who love hammers, my friend is blacksmith, if his wife let him he take his hammer to bed with him, he loves his hammers, he has a name for each one of them and when you watch him work, he talk to them. And tells them how good they do. He crazy man but funny.

I am truely sorry for your loss. I think you are brave and strong to continue in life. I have a son, he is 5, I'm not sure I could go on without him. Your story is incredibly touching.

Hi there and I am truly sorry to hear about your loss. I know how hard it is to be there in the hospital room when a loved one dies. I have been through it quite a few times in my life as well and it has changed my life and how I treat others with care because we all are not promised another day on this earth. That's why it's so important to live with care for others and love and peace for others as well. I completely understand where you're coming from because I have been there and it almost seems like the world was coming to an end when my loved ones passed on. It was truly a hard time for me and I learned how to deal with it in positive ways. The first thing I learned was to let myself grieve and then to forgive myself, and then learn to love and care for the ones who are still alive. I wish you all the healing in your life and may your life be blessed with love and peace! You will make it and believe that nothing is impossible in life when your heart has love and peace in it. i would like to say Thank you, i didn’t expect anyone to write back i was just answer the question, but your kinds words are so nice and make me smile i read them earlier before i write this. yes love is difficult and sometimes it hurts, but then to it fills your heart with joy, and money will never do that, yes new cloths and stuff can make you happy and then they go in drawer, but love is always there. even sometimes when relationship finish and you think how bad he is sometimes you also remember why you said yes to him as well. so its crazy subject. i thank you all for your words and i will remember them and they help, you take care.
I hope one day i met nice man in my life and if we do have children then i want the money that can help bring me security. But love is more important, money puts food in your belly, at moment to much food.
I write story of my blacksmith friend i put him on blog, when i read about hammers on here i laugh and think of him to.

As the old saying goes: "It is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all."
My niece Kat died of cancer when she was 13. She was my baby. She used to crawl up to my be and pull herself up and growl at me and when I would ignore her she would pull the covers off. When I was "baby proofing" my mom's house she would crawl into my lap and I would have to stop working and move her to another room. She would follow me back and crawl into my lap again.
After I gave her her bath she would chase me around the house while I would "yell" about a naked baby being loose.
If you have loved some one and they have died you keep them alive by remembering them. That is true love.

Yes, you are right! I truly believe that is the kind of love that touches the heart deep. I have gone through a lot of deaths in my family and a few of my friends and I remember them a lot and I keep them close to my heart. My love for them goes deep and I never forget them. I am also sorry for your loss and I'm sure you keep her close to your heart too. It sounds like she was such a beautiful child inside and out and she is truly loved by you and everyone that knew her.

I'd pick money, I think. Whilst it couldn't buy me love, it can buy pretty much everything else, so I wouldn't be desperately unhappy.

While it is possible to buy just about anything with enough money, I don't think it will ever be able to buy true love. But with enough money you might be able to make someone fall in love with you. It has been proven that most women are subconsciously attracted to power ie wealth.
But this thread does bring a question: what exactly is love?

I don't know that this is quantifiable as I think this is so personal that there can be no universal definition.

And while I read all the very sad and heart moving stories left here, I do wonder how these people would define that love, if they could at all. And I am not saying in any way that they did not love or feel a real loss, I think we all have at some time and you feel that reading them.

So when do you know you have true love? Or do you only really know when it is gone?

Well yesterday I would have picked loved, but it seems that sometimes no matter how much you love someone it is never enough. I gave my all to him, everything I had, and he throws it away today because it is too hard on him when I have to work as an escort to pay my bills.

How did he meet me you ask? He was my first client, lol. Isn't that ironic? Stood by me, supported me, told me he understood. So I understood when he told me he was married. What did I care, I loved him, he loved me, and everything was right with the world. Now Mr. I'm Married has decided he can't live me me escorting, yet he won't leave her, won't pay the bills. What, I'm supposed to let me and my kids starve?

So today when you ask, I choose money. At least it lets you survive, let's you make it through the next day, and it doesn't hurt you, rip out your heart and make you wish you were dead. To hell with love! Give me the money!

For YourPleasure, your story is interesting and as I daresay doesn't sound too ironic. Though I cannot fully share your feelings and I'm not sure that money will drive you to heaven, if say about "to hell with love".
