I have used the services of an escort only once in my life. and I was not terribly thrilled with the experience. But I think I can attribute that to
A) my nervousness
B) the fact that I pulled the agency's name from the yellow pages. Not the greatest of places to look, I realize now.
C) the young lady....(she was not terribly into it)

So, before I go forward again, I have a few questions.

In the ads I see on this board, are the rates quoted, generally, all the money that is needed, (outside of an optional tip)?

I know what the letters "GFE" stand for...but can someone give me an better idea what a "Girl Friend Experience" is? The answers I have seen are kind of vague. It sounds like that is what I am looking for....but not sure.

I am still nervous about being with beautiful women, but absolutely look forward to meeting many of you in my area (Milwaukee)

You ask a very insightful question. You are going to get very different definitions and even arguments because what it means to each person is a little different.

The definition I use is GFE = girlfriend experience when the service provided is like being with a girlfriend, generally includes foreplay (kissing, touching, unrushed) and the provider seems to be into the experience as much as you are. Its a real emotional and intellectual connection (i.e. relationship) for the moment with a sincere woman who enjoys the experience; it is not just mechanical sex.

Nowadays, a younger crowd has mutated this original definition, in a rather clinical and selfish way, to include DFK and BBBJ among others. They miss the point.

Frankly, the experience is not something that can be 'bought' (remember you are paying for time and companionship); it is something that a provider may or may not offer depending on mutual chemistry, personality and expectations.

Yes, that is the way I and other independent providers approach it. When you contact a provider either by email or by phone, just verify that the rates are all-inclusive or if not, the provider should identify any extra charges upfront.

Now I have heard of problems with escort agencies that advertise in the Yellow Pages (in the US). Many (I heard up to 50%) will run some sort of scam. For example, the escort arrives with a driver. You pay the driver, the driver leaves, then the escort says that you need to pay her or she will leave. If shes a hottie, then you may choose to pay twice but you probably won't much enjoy the experience.

You need to keep very alert and be street smart.

GFE also include spending time together outside the bedroom. ie going to movie, dinner, clubbing, shopping what usually do GF and BF together. Most guys like to spend full day 24 hrs or longer with an escort to get to know her.

If so just try to find an experienced and caressing girl who likes newbies. Some escorts mention this in their ads.

I guess being nervous about meeting a provider will be there until after the first time.

But another thing is (and this scares the hell out of me) is LE.

With my luck, I will set up something with an absolute knock out...show up...and be busted right there on the spot. That probably is on my mind more than the first thing.

I have absolutely NOTHING on my record...(save a speeding ticket or two) and I really need it to stay that way.

Any suggestions on how to make sure it is not any sort of sting? or is that more of a problem for the provider making sure I am not LE?

I have no references from any other providers. What is being looked for as far as a reference is concerned?

Here is the thing. If you are talking to a provider for the first time, NEVER discuss anything to do with sex and money. Offering, requesting, and/or negotiating sex for money (ie. sexual commerce) are illegal acts (even in private) and if you are in the presence of an undercover LE officer, these are exactly the acts that they are waiting for you to commit. An informed escort knows this as well, and warning bells will go off for her if you try to engage her in such a discussion. What you CAN discuss is the cost of time and companionship.

Think of it this way: Would you rather risk not get your money's worth (because the provider did not meet all of your expectations) or pay $500 per hour for a lawyer to defend you in court?

It only makes sense to stay away from areas known to be under LE scrutiny --- hooker strolls, street prostitution districts --- and CraigsList.


A reference is simply a positive recommendation from another provider. A reference is only useful to the receiving provider if you can trust it, and many times one does not personally know the referring 'provider'. An undercover sting operation will have fake references, so references are no panacea for this situation.

I wonder how many fears would go up in smoke if escort business is legalized in the US! Aren't there any single states where it is fully legal?

I have always advocated legalization of the industry.

One of my major papers I had to write for my BS in Business was written in support of the industry. It was submitted to a professor at a Catholic university.

I was roundly criticized for both the presentation and the paper itself. It was called an moral outrage and totally inappropriate subject. (I did get the subject approved by the professor beforehand, so I was OK there!)

It was written from purely an economic and medical standpoint.
The millions of dollars it would save just in LE and judicial time and money is incredible. Not to mention the millions in would bring to counties and states in fees and taxes.

The medical aspect is, I believe, a given. Countries (and Nevada, here in the US) that have legalized the industry have a far lower incidence of STDs than those that have not. That is a documented fact.

So, I am firmly in favor of legalization.

I think it would be very useful if you posted an article based on your paper. I for one would be interested in reading it.
