Maybe I just paranoid, but is anyone here afraid that explicit reviews could be used as evidence if you were ever caught by LE? Both for providers and hobbists.

I want reviews, yet I'm trying to be cautious about my language wherever I advertise. Thus, I ask my reviewers to be vaugue in regards to "activities".

What is your experience? Have you ever had any situations where explicit reviews did more harm than good?

I'm wanting to get recognized for good service, yet also want to be careful.

Lotsa lovin, Leslie Layne

Is a "good" one opposite for "explicit" one???...
Well, this is a compromise, quite fragile as it depends mostly not on you, I guess. But you can arrange it before what things must not be posted in the review by any way.

Refer to my new review for a good example. Advertising services for me I don't advertise myself for a number of reasons. Mainly, it's not legal and not everyone gets the same treatment with me. Both ettiquite and money change a lot of things. I am personaly torn on wether or not I should turn off my ad, but then again might as well leave it up. I am not sure if everyone can see what I see, I hope that not every basic member gets the juicy details. TER for example has reviews of me that I can't turn off, but I have gotten very positve feedback off my reviews. I often get appointments based on what my reviews said about me. They also are good reviews, I suppose if they were bad it would be the opposite. All in all, most of the time, clients pay for memberships to learn these things. Often they are looking for something in particular and a review is nothing less than a testimony that yes you will do it. I have yet to hear of anyone having any trouble with LE becuase of thier reviews. Everytime I have heard about a provider getting arrested it has been advertising things such as full service, or greek, or bbbj on craigslist.com, never off any other site. Not to say it wont happen, I just haven't heard of it. All in all I would say not to worry to much, they will help you more than hurt you. You can always deny, deny, deny; because afterall, you don't do anything illegal right? ;0)

Its possible, but I don't believe its the major risk --- which is that LE could target providers in a sting operation based on the information provided in a review. For example, if a review mentioned specific (explicit) sex acts and that the provider did incalls ... this would be a roadmap for a LE sting operation. If you recall, this is what happened for the CraigsList busts except that it was based on provider advertising. Its not a great stretch to see the same risk in explicit reviews.

The reviews and what you post on bulletin boards are protected free speech. Which is why LE use undercover operatives to gather first party evidence and testimony, as well as recorded audio and video. Explicit reviews may make it difficult to make a strong defense or establish reasonable doubt.

LE are well aware of the TER and TBD boards. The TBD board was the object of LE action a number of years ago. I would be concerned about the high LE profile for the TER and TBD boards.

Its a tough decision to weigh the risks. I know I struggled with this one.

I would never post such a dangerous review.
Perhaps only through my ignorance but never knowingly. And I would certainly try to edit it or even remove from the site if the escort reports me about my mistake.

But some guys seem to have real purposes to do. I am more and more happy that at least anonyms are not allowed to post reviews!

Some new sites do allow anonymous reviews, but this leads to lots of misuse, spam and false posts, and the percentage of real and valuable reviews comes close to zero very fast. I don't believe that anonymous review sites can stay long in this business.

Pfff... of course they cannot. This thing is very popular at many "news garbages" to increase their ratings using peoples anger and stupidity! I dislike them very much.

Anyway this is better than watching news on tv. Nobody forces you to read all comments. The task is only to subdue your own anger and, of course, stupidity :)
But the task is easy only for users as they don't respond for the sites contents, and this is one more cause to prohibite anonymous comments and particularly reviews.
