Could you explaing this to me a little more? Am I just rating the gallery? Does rating one mean the same as voting for it? Am I able to rate all the photos of every one posted?

Thanks.

You rate each individual photo separately. If you like what you see, if you find the image appealing, sexy, erotic, you give it higher rating, if not - lower. We will add some displaying function that will allow to see the best photos soon.

Beware guys, this feature is quite addictive!

Site Admin, whatever I vote, I am getting this message on the right:
Your vote: 0
Is it ok? I belive, it must show my vote.

I'm having the same problem as mydearme: Your vote 0. I think one of the things that should be voted on, to me the main concern, is the quality of the photo.
Some of them are sexy, appealing and erotic but, the quality sucks.

The voting bug has been fixed. It appeared only under IE. Now votes are recorded and counted.

Site Admin, the photo rating seems very awkward to me. I click on 'Photo Rating' in the Site Menu and what appears to be a pseudo-randomly selected photo (based on a filter) is presented for one to rate. The only option for a different photo is to reload the page.

The photo presented does not appear to be randomly selected. I see photos from the same gallery, and some of the same photos are presented when I go to Photo Rating at a different time or day.

I would suggest it would be more direct and intuitive to have the Photo Rating function available when one is perusing a specific gallery. Like when you click on a photo thumbnail (in a gallery) to view the photo full size.

I have to agree with dominixe. The present way is frustrating.

I see the changes that have been made for photo rating. It is good that one can now rate photos from the galleries. I would offer these suggestions for improvement.

1. It is not obvious that to rate a photo one needs to click on the photo thumbnail to get to page with the photo and film strip thumbnails on top. Only then does the drop-down rating menu and vote button appear. Suggest that you put a notice to this effect on the gallery thumbnail pages.

2. The default rating is 5 (which is 'medium') out of 10 ('best'). I think it should be "blank" to indicate that one needs to select a rating. Otherwise it is too easy to just click the Vote! button without thinking and unintentionally register a vote of 5. Also some people might think the rating scale is 1 to 5 instead of 1 to 10. If your program detects a 'blank' rating, then you ignore and abort the vote with an error message.

3. The Photo Rating menu selection under the Site Menu doesn't do anything for me. I suggest that you eliminate it completely. Just my opinion.

Thanks a lot for your suggestions!

1. I believe that people will get accoustomed to the site functions quickly. So they will notice the place where rate button is placed. We originally inserted rate buttons on the thumbnal pages, but I believe that one have to see the picture closer before rating it. So we moved the button inside the gallery.

2. Totally agree, we'll change it. It's really a bit confusing.

3. For the time being we'll leave it there and see if this module worth staying on the site. If it won't be popular, we'll take it down completely. Some people like surfing pics in "Am I Sexy or Not?" manner, so this feature may have some demand.

Just had a thought. I suggest that you add some additional search fields to this module. I'm thinking of:
- Photos that have votes
- Photos with a specific rating (1 ... 10)

I think this would very much enhance the usefulness of this module for me.

By the way, I submitted a bug report on the photo rating. It appears that voted ratings are off by 1. Eg. If I vote a 10 for a photo, it gets recorded by the system as 9.

Excellent features. More photos means higher ratings, because some photos are better than others. What happens when a photo is removed? The ratings also changes?
Thanks.

The bug report I submitted was investigated by Admin Ilya who apparently found nothing wrong with the voting system.

I voted again for a photo, and I get the same result on my computer screen -- the vote that is registered is 1 less than the vote I made. I was very careful this time to select the vote number ... verified the number showing in the drop-down menu before I clicked the Vote! button.

Can anyone else verify if the photo voting is off by 1?
