There is a myth that all TV in Thailand are working in bars. Not true. Some are well educated and have a good job.

but I am now also entering the myth...lol

I am now however, entering a new part of my life in where I want to start "working" as an escort and see how it goes. Day time I will keep my job but in the evening or when possible work in this industry.

Any comment or advice?!

Good Luck to you.
But what is your first job? Is it really compatible with escorting?

I beg this myth is against common sense. Just because I used to work in a bar, though I'm not a tv.

I know many who also work in cosmetic, in shops etc etc. Guess you find everywhere TV, males, females. Not about what sex you are...

Well first there is a difference between TV and TS. Many TS in Thailand have good education, good job and wealthy families. Some just want to have fun and some wants to make money. If you pose for some TS websites and join forums, you can earn 'superstardom' with nice photos and can demand nice fees. But beware competition is fierce and many customers compare prices exists in Pattaya or Nana.

TS:A person who identifies as a member of the opposite sex. Transsexuals usually desire physical alteration of their bodies to bring them closer to the sex in which they identify.

Pre-op transsexuals still have the genetalia of their birth sex, but live life as the opposite sex. Post-op transsexuals have undergone surgery to alter their genitalia.

TV:Transvestites are men who adopt the identity of women through dress and behavior. Transvestic individuals exhibit sexual pleasure from assuming the identity of the opposite sex. Some simply desire wearing women's clothing in public or private. Most transvestites are heterosexual males.

Most ladyboys are TS in Thailand because they take hormones, get breast implants and some have sex reassignment surgery. Those who never take hormones, don't get implants and just dress and act as women are tranvestites.

Thank you very much, Bangkok Bow! It was really interesting for me and I confess that did not know this difference.
More than once I read and heard that sex reassignment surgery in Thailand is very cheap, and even some foreigners come to this country especially to change their sex. Is it really so cheap?

You are welcome Kotikkk. Yes, medical tourism is booming in Thailand. More and more Europeans and Americans come for medical reasons and take a vacation after their surgeries. Even with the flight expenses and vacation, costs are much lower than in Europe/USA. Thai surgeons are very experienced and good as the TS population here is very large and active. SRS (sexreassigmentsurgery) cost from 100,000 baht up, but excellent hospitals charge double of that. The cost is still much less than in the USA.

Oh, f**k...you don't say so! And how do you think, why particularly Thailand has so cheap service of changing sex? What are the roots of this?

This has nothing to do with being a TS or TV but I take exception to the statement about people who work doing or sellling makeup.

In the Contra Costa Coummity Theatre Arts area I am a well know make up artist. I can not paint of draw but I am one fatastic make up artist. I have be requested, by name, to work at emergency prepardness exercises through out the tri-county area.

Just because I do make up has nothing to do with my sexual orinetation.
