DO guys find it rude to hear your cell phone ring during a session?

I believe that is the reason there are on and off buttons. I don't own or carry a cell phone and if I ever get one it will be for emergency use only. As for being with an escort I will state, at the beging, if a phone call comes from a family member or is an emergency by all means answer it other than that the time is supossed to be mine.
In CA, beging on 1 Jan 2008 it will be illegal to use a cell phone while driving. My opinon is they should be banned in all public places, I don't want to hear your BS or hear you talk in a voice loud enough to hear across the room. Cell phones are a nusiance.

Hey Paul,

Thanks for the feedback. I would strictly have my phone on for emergencies. I may need to make a call if im in trouble and someone may need to call me. While i understand your point of view about banning public cell phone use, its not 100% fair. Phones have brought us so much good. We can call anywhere if we broke down with our cars, forgot something at home, call people for directions, etc. Cell phones have their positives and negatives just like everything else!

Thanks
Leyla

When I was in the hospital with my sister, I was waiting in the ER. A guy got a call on his cell and answered it on Speaker mode. Talk about being egotistical and inconsiderate.

I find it rude and unprofessional to keep a cell phone on during a meeting. A guy is paying for your time and attention and it should be focused on them not on a phone ringing and it really breaks the mood. Most cell phones have voice mail so if they want you bad enough they will leave a message or call you later. I have seen girls with bad reviews for very this very same reason.

I always leave my phone on for emergencies, but keep it on silent mode.
I really couldn't care less what the client does with his phone,it's him who's paying for the session, if he wants to answer his phone half way through, then I don't mind.

When I am with a client, my time and attention is entirely devoted to him. That said, I do leave my cell phone on for one reason --- my safety and time call. This is my safety net because:

1. it tells me when my scheduled date time is up
2. its lets my client know that I have someone looking out for me
3. it gives me a reason to leave

Sometimes a client may not want you to leave when the time is up, and may have thoughts of keeping you longer against your will. Or you only want to put up with an obnoxious person for the absolute minimum amount of time.

My trusted safety person knows where I am and who I am with, and will provide help as required, up to and including calling the police. When I am safely away, I will call my safety person to let them know that I am OK.

Meeting a client at a hotel is relatively safe. But seeing someone at a private residence can pose personal risks. The safety and time call will give pause to the person you are meeting if they have any ill intentions.

P.S. I carry two cell phones - a business cell, and my safety and time cell. The business cell is turned off during a date so that there are no interruptions. I only expect to get a safety and time call at the end of a session.

The mobile should be on for emergenices I think, - you never know. However, it must be on silent mode. It is not fair to be interrupted while with a client and your phone rigns. Even worst if you go and pick it up. Tjhat is not giving the full attention to that person, - who actually paid to be with you.

so, silent mode but no answer while busy

When I schedule to be with someone; I make sure that they have my undivided complete attention. I keep the cell phone off during the time I'm with someone. I usually go through the process of calling and making sure to call family and friends ahead of time to make sure that everything is going ok. If they need to reach me;when I am finished with my time with someone; I usually turn my phone back on to see if there are any messages pertaining to family emergencies and then, I turn it back off. I also make sure to call other clients on the next day or prior to the day of being with someone else so that I may have time to talk to them. I believe that each person deserves my attention and not to be rushed in any manner. For me; it just works better. Everyone has a different way of dealing with things. This just works better for me though. I wish everyone a really good week!

Shocking New Report!!!

I got a cell phone. Yep, that's right, I got one. I needed one in order so I can stay in touch with my sister. I had the email and IM turned off so I only have the phone and camera, it's taken me days just to figure out how to put numbers in the "Address Book", what the hell, I'm calling some one not sending a letter. And all this other stuff that's on it, give me a break!
Oh, well, a cave man invented the wheel I guess I can learn, too.

I must agree with most! This is a service provided, and a very unique service, where high quality is respected, and should be a given. It def. can and will blow a mood.

Although, in the heat of a moment I must agree to being guilty to leaving mine on sometimes.

Another area to work on when trying to provide quality service.

Guess I better ad that to my list.

I agree that the phone must be on for emergencies, you never know when one of those pops up. But yes, it should be on silent so it doesnt kill the mood. You can check your vmails when you're in the bathroom or any other such excuse.
