A few healhty snacks to have during the holidays and during the year too!
I usually like to snack on something healthy so that I don't get tempted by other things like cookies and all the others sweets out there. Well, I do have a few sweets now and then.(smile) I have a few snacks that I would like to share with you that you may want to try sometime.
One of them is: 1 slice of angel food cake topped with 1/2 medium-size banana and a 1/4 cup of mixed berries. It is very good!
Also, you may also want to try during the holidays as well is: Core a medium-size apple and fill with 2 tbsp juice-packed crushed pineapple, 1 Tbsp raisins and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Microwave it for 5 minutes
and enjoy! I know I'll be fixing this one for sure during the holidays!
Another good one is a:1/2 medium-size baked potatoe with the skin on it, topped with 2 Tbsp light sour cream mixed with a dash of dried chives and basil. These are just a few good high energy snacks that can help you during the holidays to help keep you healthy as well as giving you the energy you need during the holidays and even after the holidays too!
