I sometimes read when I get the feeling to or when I get the feeling that I need to read something that I have come across different times in my lifetime. I would like to share a poem that means a lot to me as well.
"When I Have Fears That I May Cease To Be" - by:John Keats
When I have fears that I may cease to be
Before my pen has gleaned my teeming brain,
Before high-piled books, in charactery,
Hold like rich garners the full-ripened grain;
When I behold, upon the night's starred face,
Huge cloudly symbols of a high romance,
And think that I may never live to trace
Their shadows, with the magic hand of chance,
And when I feel, fair creature of an hour,
That I shall never look upon thee more,
Never have relish in the fairy power
Of unreflecting love- then on the shore
Of the wide world I stand alone, and think
Till love and fame to nothingness do sink.
I really enjoy this poem. This poem touches my heart deeply. It shows that we all like to be loved no matter who we all are. This poem shows that sometimes we all let our foolish pride and our ways get in the way of loving others and sometimes being loved by others as well. Real love is what makes life even better. I hope you enjoy this poem as much as I do as well!
