If you're feeling down; be encouraged today!
If you're feeling down and feel like life is not all that it should be;it will get better. Sometimes you may just need to rest and take some time for yourself to regroup. If you can find someway to encourage yourself through the hard times;it will get better. You may even try to do something you enjoy that makes you happy like listening to music that will help you feel better, you may try exercising, window shopping, or just taking a walk. I know another thing that helps me is being of encouragement to others during my hard times as well. I may also give a person a ride that they may need or give someone a little money that they may need for a bus ride or lunch. I may even try sending a card to a family member or friend who is going through hard times. Any of these positive things and even more positive things can be done to help you through the hard times. Things aren't always going to be bad and things aren't always going to be good either. So, it's good to have the same attitude going through good times and bad times. Only difference is that you learn to deal with and control yourself during the bad times. I've learned to do this during my life and I'm still working on improving my attitude during the bad times as well. I just learn to take life by the horns instead of life taking me by the horns so to speak. So, if you're feeling down and discouraged today;be encouraged that things are not always going to be bad. Things do get better and eventually even better than we all can imagine. I hope that this all brings encouragement to anyone and everyone!

Hi paulh50!
Thanks for stopping by. I really loved your story and experience! That's an amazing story and; yes I think you did the right thing with helping the lady into the entrance to the mall! The cop was right too! Some people never think of helping others because of shame, fear, doubt,or they just don't care. It's very sad too because someday those same people will need help at sometime in their lives. I have had my experiences with helping people in those types of situations and sometimes helping with things like a little money to give someone to get a bus&something to eat. That's happened to me quite a bit in my lifetime. I've also given rides to some people that didn't have a ride and even helped with chores for older people and friends and family. It feels very good to help others when the oppurtunity is there. I just wish that others would not let doubt, fear, shame,or a feeling of carelessness get in the way of helping others when the oppurtunity is there. We all are responsible for not only ourselves;but for each other as well. Thanks again for the encouraging experience! I hope you have a great day!
Take Care,

One thing I, always, remember is the time I saw a woman trying to cross the entrance to Sun Valley shopping mall in Plesant Hill, CA.

She was in a wheel chair trying to push her self across the enrrance, backwards, and no one would stop to let her cross.

I got so pissed off that I blocked the entrance with my truck and pushed her across. It was then I noticed she had only one leg and one arm.

I asked her where she wanted to go and pushed her to the Pharmacy while my truck was still blocking the entrance. When I got her to the door I asked if she need more help. She said, "No, but Thank you and God Bless you." It was then I notice she also suffered from MS.

When I returned to my truck a cop was there and I explained to him what happened and pointed at the woman. He looked at the people in their cars and said,"Fuck 'em."

Brings tears to my eyes every time I think of her. She reminds me I never have a bad day.
