I recently have been reading and I would love to share a poem that has meaning for me.
"Crossing The Bar" By: Alfred Lord Tennyson
Sunset and evening star
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea,
But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
Turns again home.
Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark;
For though from out our bourne of Time and Place

When I have crossed the bar.
This poem has deep meaning for me. It got me to thinking about how we all live our lives and how we all treat one another in life. There are so many people that hurt because of what others do to them in life. How we treat one another in life and care for one another in life does matter because one day we all will be looking back on our lives and seeing either the good things that we brought into others lives or we will see the bad things we brought into others lives. For me, I would much rather see the good that I brought into others lives. There are others that hurt because they have lost loved ones in life as well. I have lost loved ones in my life and although I miss them and love them very much; I know that they are at peace. Their memories of love and care are always deep in my heart and that is what makes me want to live my life with love, peace, and understanding of others all the way through my life until it's time for me to go.

I have noticed that when I try to become friendly with a few people on here and write to them to welcome them and wish them well; for some reason I get negative results on my forum post for them. I only try to be friendly and encourage others to be friendly too. My reputation points have gone down from 37 to 29 in just a little over a couple days. I really try hard to put up only things that encourage friendliness, peace, love, and fun. I only wish that others really could see who I am on the inside as well as the outside. I wish only the best for the people that vote negative for me and I hope for peace and love to touch every part of their lives. The weather here for now is pretty cold; but it's ok and thank goodness for heat inside. What would be even better would be warm bodies next to one another....oh what a feeling!!! I hope that everyone's weekend went very well and that you all had a safe time as well! Well, now we have the big night of the Oscar's! I wonder who will win the most Oscar's tonight. There are quite a few good movies and programs out there that really are great. I love that finally they are going to have an awards ceremony that is going to be great to watch! I had a nice day today even though it was raining outside and cold. I had a nice time with a friend for a couple hours today. I enjoy nature and feeling the warm breezy air on me. Even though our weather here is cold for a few days at a time and then warm a few days at a time; I still enjoy it all though. I really enjoy the warm air I've been feeling lately outside and seeing the trees and some flowers. It reminds me of Spring which is coming in the next couple of months or so.
