Yesterday and today have been beautiful days here in Nor Cal. We had rain last week and this week the wind is blowing and the sky is so clear you can see Mount Shasta, Donner Summit, Echo Summit (Sout Lake Tahoe) and the pass to Yosemite! It's fantastic. During the summer there is so much poloutiion you almost forget all the mountains we have around us but this week has been fantastic. Makes me remember why I move up north to a small town. I hope that every one else is having wonderful weather as well.
The rain we had for the past 2 weeks has, almost, brought us up to 80% of normal rain and snow fall but we still need more. We're going through our 3rd year of drought and need to get at least 135% if rain and snow pack to break even. I'm praying that next year is a lot wetter year.

For the past years my sister has lived with me and I am, pretty much, her care provider, but there are times when it gets to be to much for me. She has started to take advantage of all the work I do for her and not doing one single thing to help me. I do all the house work, the majority of the cooking and washing dishes. She does not clean the house in any way, I even clean her bathroom and I hate that job.
Last week she went to the store and I was worried, as I always am when she is driving ,and she was pulled over by the Sheriff's dept for weaving while she was driving. They called me to tell me she was being taken to the hospital and brought her car to me. Really nice guys not like the Popo.
I get to the hospital and she is in emergency and after 2 hours they come in and tell me they need to run more tests. I leave and at 11:45pm I call and learn the have just sent her upstairs to be admitted. I get to the hospital and the doctors tells me she has nearly died because her kidneys were failing and she was dehydrated and wants to know how it happened. I got pretty upset with him and told him I do every thing except bathe and dress her and I'm God dammed if I'm going to watch over her and hand feed her as well. Kinda set him back.
I get so sick and tired of my sister not doing one thing around the house that I want to scream. Every time I try to talk to her she has a seizure and I'm begining to wonder if she is always like that when some one stresses her out or is it just me. The nuero surgeon tried to get her to have a seizure while she was under going an EEG, didn't happen. I told her to tell the doc that if shee needs to have a seizure I'll go with her and she'll have one with no problem.
With the deficit the way it is I doubt that Social Services for the county can do much but they told me that I could get some one to come in and watch her while I'm gone. I am definetly going to check on that program cause I need a break.
I feel like I'm a prisoner in my own house and I'm tired of it.
